General Spanish Course.
Each course indicated below is divided into didactic units.
- The emphasis of the first didactic unit is conversation and comprehension of the
listener. The objective is that students comprehend and speak as much as possible.
- The second didactic unit focuses on reinforcing the grammatical aspects of the language
and allows the student to progressively learn it and its systemization.
- In the third didactic unit students work with listenings, readings, practice exercises,
and reading comprehension.
Each course is divided into four levels: Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced, and
Magistral. Each level takes 4 weeks to complete.
- Each level consists of 100 hours divided into 60 didactic units.
- Each week is made up of 25 hours divided into 15 didactic units.
- Each day consists of 5 hours in which 3 didactic units are taught.
- The duration of each didactic unit is 90 minutes.
D.E.L.E. Preparation Courses
These courses last 4 weeks. Each week consists of 25 hours class time for a total of
100 hours per course.
Likewise, our center takes care of student registry for the exam at the University of
Alcalá de Henares.
Our school only prepares students to obtain the Basic Spanish Diploma (D.B.E.) and the
Superior Spanish Diploma (D.S.E).
- For those wanting to obtain the Basic and Superior Diplomas in May, preparation courses
will begin the second week of April and will end the first week of May.
- For those wanting to obtain the Basic and Superior Diplomas in November, preparation
courses will begin the second week of October and end the first week of November.
Due to the fact that the exam is given by the University of Alcalá de Henares,
students interested in taking D.E.L.E. Preparation courses should contact us with enough
advance notice in order to be able to register them on-time.
