7. Enrollment and Registration Conditions

7.1 Admissions

Minimum age of admission is 18.

You should enroll three weeks before starting the course by sending Magistral-mba:

  • A completed enrollment form.
  • 2 passport-size photos.
  • The original or copy of the receipt of payment, by banker’s transfer, or non-refundable registration fee of 50,000 ptas or 300.51 euros.

If you wish to enroll less than three weeks before the beginning of the course, you should do so by email. If there are places available, we will process your enrollment as quickly as possible. Enrollment forms can also be printed from this site.

7.2 Visas

If you are not a European citizen you may need to get a visa before coming to study at Magistral-mba. If this is true or you do not know if you need one, you should contact the Spanish Embassy or Spanish Consulate in your country. 7.3 Accommodations

Enrolled students have three options of housing during their stay: in a hotel, in an apartment, or with a Spanish family. Hotel prices provided in accommodation tables are approximate. If so desired, Magistral-mba will make the hotel reservations in your company’s name. Otherwise, reservations should be taken care of directly by your company. Inquiries about reserving rooms can be faxed to the following hotels:

Hotel Topeca (4 star): (34) 91-882-4745 Fax: (34) 91-882-8167

Magistral-mba will not be responsible or liable for cancellations, reservations, penalties, or any other expenses incurred before, during, or after student’s stay.

The reservation of a room in an apartment is made on a two-week minimum basis and is reserved from the day before the course starts until the day after the course finishes. A security deposit will be required and will be returned at the end of the student’s stay. Students must prepay their apartments every 15 days. Please check with Magistral-mba if flights or other transportation considerations do not match with the day before/day after scheme. Keep in mind that students will need about 13-15 days total to recover from jet lag, prepare themselves for the course, and complete it.

Families have been carefully selected for students to stay with here in Alcalá if they so desire. Full room and board is included in the cost of living with a family. The minimum stay with a family is 2 weeks and the reservation should be made with a minimum 2 weeks in advance.

7.4 Transportation

Magistral-mba offers a free courtesy service by which students are picked up at Madrid International Airport and taken to the lodging they have chosen. In order to take advantage of this free service, you should indicate the date and time of your arrival along with the flight number and airline.

7.5 Insurance

We recommend that each student have an insurance policy. This can be done in Spain under a company that is contracted by Magistral-mba or by the student in his/her country. If the student opts for Magistral-mba’s policy, he/she will be covered in the case of unexpected events, contingency, liability, etc.

7.6 Method of payment

  • The full value (if already paid) of the course will be refunded, less the enrollment fees, if notification of cancellation by the student is received before the course has begun.
  • When the student has begun one of the courses and due to causes beyond his/her control, the student will receive a refund of the proportion corresponding to the remaining weeks of the course.
  • A complete refund of the Enrollment fee will be given ONLY in the case that a course should be canceled by Magistral-mba.

7.9 Modifications

Students may request to change level or course during the time period of the course in which they have enrolled. Changing level does not involve any modification of course prices but could affect the prices of the teaching materials. Changing courses will involve modifications in cost as indicated in the table of prices. These modifications should be paid for at the time of the change. Should a course be canceled, the students affected will receive a full refund of any advance payment including enrollment fees (in this case only). Upon graduation from one level of a course to a higher level, the student will be required to pay the costs of teaching materials for the subsequent level.
